Tips for Ovulation Tracking

  • Basal Body Temperature (BBT): Your BBT slightly rises after ovulation. Take your temperature every morning before getting out of bed.
  • Ovulation Predictor Kits (OPKs): These kits detect levels of luteinizing hormone (LH) in your urine, which surges 24-36 hours before ovulation.
  • Cervical Mucus: During ovulation, cervical mucus becomes clear, stretchy, and resembles raw egg white.
  • Cervical Position: The cervix becomes soft, high, open, and wet during ovulation.
  • Ovulation Pain: Some women experience mild pain or cramping on one side of the abdomen during ovulation.
